A small firm that builds systems.
We help businesses put AI to work on their own terms — and the knowledge stays with you and your people.
Not an agency. Not a strategy shop. An enabler.
We teach your team how AI works, hand over the frameworks and tools we use ourselves, and stay close while they build. When we leave, the capability lives inside your business — because the people in your business are the ones who built it.
Small on purpose.
Ochre is a small firm by design — a clear point of view, a short bench, and the room to do the work properly. We do not take on engagements we cannot do well, and we do not sell what we do not believe in.
We are practitioners, not pundits. We build systems, write down what we learn, and stay close to the businesses we work with. Most of what we do is quiet work — sitting in a room with a team, watching how things actually run, figuring out where AI helps and where it gets in the way.
A small firm gets to be picky. We pick the work, the partners, and the pace. That is how anything real gets built.
We use what we hand over.
The frameworks we teach your team are the same ones we run our own firm on. Writing, research, planning, an archive of everything we have figured out — built into a working system we use every day. It is how a small firm keeps up with work that would usually take a team, and why we can give you real direction instead of a deck.
We have also built AI products of our own — including Contractor Co-Pilot, an operating system for construction businesses. The lines between what AI should do and what a person should do are ones we have had to draw ourselves, on our own product, screen by screen.
When we tell you something works, it is because we have used it. When we tell you to skip something, it is because we have already paid the price for trying. The thinking behind any of this lives in our writing.
AI does not know your business. Someone on your team has to teach it.
AI can do a lot. It does not know what you want, where your limits are, or what your customers expect. Someone has to teach it your business — what your team sounds like, what the numbers mean, what “done” looks like, and when to stop and ask a person.
That teaching has to live in your team, not ours. If we do it for you, the knowledge walks out the door the day we leave. We make sure it stays with you.
That is why we work this way. We teach, your team builds, and the knowledge stays with you and your people.
Let’s talk.
Tell us what you are trying to figure out. We reply personally.
